Mr. Mevl\u00fct \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu<\/strong> gave a talk entitled “Current Challenges Facing the EU and the Larger Europe, and Turkey’s Possible Contribution” in\u00a0Centre for Policy Analysis and Research on Turkey (ResearchTurkey)\u2019s featuring conference.<\/p>\n This event was jointly organised with KCL Turkish Society took place on Thursday, 18 April 2013 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at K2.31 Nash Lecture Theatre, Strand Campus, King\u2019s College London, Strand, WC2R 2LS. Dr. Simon Waldman (Middle East & Mediterranean Studies, King\u2019s College London) \u00a0kindly chaired this event.<\/p>\n Mevl\u00fct \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu <\/b>is a founding member <\/b>and Deputy Chairman in charge of Foreign Affairs of Justice And Development Party (AK Parti<\/b>). <\/b>Mr. \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu studied PhD. on \u2018sustainable environmental economy and sustainable development\u2019 at the London School Economics.\u00a0 He has been elected as Member of Parliament from Antalya province on 22th, 23th and 24th (current) terms. He served as the President of the Turkish delegation to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE). He has also been a member of Migration, Refugees and Population Commission, member of Commission for Auditing, Co-rapporteur of Bosnia-Herzegovina at the PACE. \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu also worked as Vice President of European Democratic Group.
