The Institute of International Relations (I.I.R.) of Panteion University of Athens organizes in cooperation with South East European Studies at Oxford (SEESOX) its 22nd Annual Summer Seminar which will be held on the island of Tinos, Greece, from June 29 to July 4, 2013.

This year’s Summer Seminar will seek answers to the following questions:

  • How is Greece impacting, and being impacted by, these developments?
  • What is Turkey’s role on the regional stage?
  • How might the Republic of Cyprus better manage its mineral wealth?
  • What part do Israel and Egypt play in regional stability?
  • What can we expect from the Arab uprisings?
  • How will major external forces (the U.S., the EU) with strong footing in the region proceed in light of recent developments?
  • How is the economic crisis in the European south impacting regional affairs?
